Gooey Butterscotch Bars


Salty, candy and gooey. Want i say extra?




Ingredients

For the crust:
  1. 1 bundle sugar cookie blend (17 half of oz)
  2. 1 package immediately butterscotch pudding mix (3.4oz)
  3. ½ cups butter, softened
  4. 1 whole egg


For the topping:
  1. 1 package kraft caramels (14oz)
  2. ½ cups evaporated milk
  3. 2 cups mixed nuts
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 cup butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350 f.

For the crust:
In a huge bowl, integrate sugar cookie mix, butterscotch pudding blend, butter and egg. Blend together till well integrated. Press into an ungreased nine x thirteen pan and bake at 350 f for 20-25 minutes or until set. Dispose of from the oven.

For the topping:
Unwrap the caramels. In a large saucepan, integrate caramels and evaporated milk. Prepare dinner over medium heat, continuously stirring until caramels are melted. Eliminate from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla extract.

Pour caramel over the cookie crust and top with butterscotch chips.

Cool absolutely, reduce into small squares and serve with a large glass of milk.
