Salsa Verde

This clean salsa verde goes exquisite with a lot of your preferred mexican recipes




Ingredients
  • 7  tomatillos
  • 3  serrano peppers
  • ½  white onion
  • 1 clove (big) garlic
  • 1  avocado
  • ½ bunches cilantro
  • Salt to flavor
  • ¼  lime, juiced


Instruction

In a pot, cover tomatillos and serrano peppers with water convey to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for approximately 10 minutes or till tomatillos are softened.

Transfer tomatillos and serrano peppers to blender. Add onion, garlic, avocado and cilantro to blender. Blend for approximately 1 minute or until salsa is nicely mixed.

Transfer to a bowl and season with salt and lime juice to taste. Stir and serve.

Enjoy! Refrigerate any leftover
